The Eastern Way: Why our fundamentals define us

A business is never just a business. It is created by people, for people, and the heart and soul of the organization is founded on the personality of those involved.

Here at Eastern Funding, we pride ourselves on our values, from our regular work in the community to the principles and practices of our employees. That is why we created “The Eastern Way,” a collection of 29 fundamentals that help guide us through our day-to-day lives, both in the office and at home.

While Eastern Funding is a broad, varied and unique business, these 29 fundamentals are as succinct of a definition of who we are as a brand – and how we’ve gotten to where we are today.

Fundamentals paint a clear picture
Now at the end of the Eastern Way series, we have covered 29 fundamentals that are incredibly important to our organization.

The first was “Do the right thing,” which highlighted how having the proper attitude can make it easier to do the right thing in a professional setting. Other fundamentals we’ve touched on over the past several months have included a personal take on quality control, speaking and listening well, setting clear expectations and working with a sense of urgency.

These are just a few of the fundamentals, and each one provides a bit of insight into who we are at Eastern Funding and how we run our business. This transparency is incredibly important, and one of the key reasons why we launched The Eastern Way to begin with.

Another is community involvement. We pride ourselves on working in the community, with the people who end up using our products and services or the people being helped by those that do. With these fundamentals, you’ll have a clearer picture of who we are and what we value here at Eastern Funding. If you’d like to read more, check out the fundamentals posted on our blog right here.
